| 61004 | 2002-07-09 09:30:00 | Anyone had a look at the directory contents of the July pc world cd?? * In the games dir there is a file (outpost.htm) linking to a firewall (firewalls aren't typically games) * D:\Movies\MOVIES1.HTM isn't linked to from anywhere. * D:\Movies\minority_report-tr2_m480.mov is a missing link in D:\Movies\MOVIES1.HTM and doesn't exist on the CD. where D:\ is my cd-rom drive. Just wondering if this is me, or if all July pcworld cd's are like this??? markOS X. |

| 61006 | 2002-07-09 21:45:00 | When I build the CD each month I leave the odd "spare" HTML file lying around...sometimes on purpose...sometimes not. In the case of Minority Report for instance, we had no movies on the CD that month but I left the Movies folder and HTML there from the previous month so I could use it the following month as a template. That sounds convoluted....but it makes sense....kind of. Just think of them as easter eggs....really really dull easter eggs :) |
