If your tv-out has s-video output then you could use s-video cable, but tv has to have this port also otherwise it won't work . I'd say use normal RCA cable . This will go out from your tv-out and into "video in" port on your tv . Also make sure have the tv on the right channel . If everything is connected correctly and properly, it should work fine . 2 . the software part Make sure you're using nvidia driver (latest would be best) . Then go to display properties -> settings -> advanced . Go to nview tab and you should the "clone" option has been enabled . Tick on it and click apply . Your images should be displayed on your monitor and your tv . Troubleshoot If the clone option is grayed out . You might want to check all the cables and if they're connected properly . This option will be enabled only when the cables are connected properly . If the clone option is enabled but you don't get the images on your tv . Make sure that you set the refresh rate to 60hz . Usually tvs can only handle 60hz, so if you use some software that forces refresh rate in windows then you have to lower down the refresh rate . Unless you have a very expensive tv that can handle a refresh of 60hz - 100hz . |
