1306702 2012-10-14 01:06:00 Hi I have finally ordered a rasberry pi, silly question which charger to buy to power it? And how long did anyone wait for their order to come through from farnell. micky (7329)
1306703 2012-10-14 01:11:00 It has a micro USB slot to power it. So you just need a micro usb to usb cable, and then a usb to wall socket plug. :) Nick G (16709)
1306704 2012-10-14 08:31:00 Well technically it should be 1A ideally or you'll experience stability issues. It may need to be more if you're powering external HDD's too, or get a powered USB Hub to run them off (Speaking from experience). Chilling_Silence (9)

Also make sure you purchase a high quality PSU not some $2 one from China such as these: www.raspberrypi.org
