| 1306203 | 2012-10-10 05:46:00 | Hi, I have had my netbook stepped on and the LCD screen now has cracks in it and now only shows a white screen when the netbook is turned on. Does any one know where I could get a replacement screen or how much it would be worth with a broken screen if I put it on TradeMe for example? Thanks |

Usually find youtube videos on how to change ur particular screen. Make sure u get right screen. Nz has some odd number models.. Often best to take broken screen out and photograph id stickers to send with order. Can u hook it up to a monitor first to make sure it is only the screen buggered. |

As long as it's working it still has value, either connected to an external monitor or as a DIY repair Job. It'd probably make a great media player for a home theatre setup also. I'd guess somewhere in the $100-$300 range with a broken screen as long as you can confirm that's all that's wrong with it. To the right person it would be worth having, but a lot of people would only buy it in that condition if it's really cheap. I tried to sell a lower specced month old EeePC 1000HD on trade me for $200 and got no takers. |
