1305889 2012-10-09 01:09:00 Hi Peoples

I think I may have asked this question before but have gone back and can't find a straight forward answer to my problem which is :-

I'm loosing security certificated to certain sites like Trademe, Facebook (the missus ... NOT me) and another few that I can't recall offhand.

It seems to be my computer only that is affected as the wifey has no problems. All Internet Banking etc. is still secure and I have run all antivirus, spyware, malware, etc and nothing found.

Question is, what is causing it and how do I rectify the situation ... Please assume that I am a front row prop who has been concussed more than 23 times and use plain speak if replying ... :D

Thanking you in advance

1305891 2012-10-09 01:26:00 Check the date on your computer - this sometimes happens if your date is set in advance of the actual date. Did you adjust for daylight savings? Zara Baxter (16260)
1305892 2012-10-09 01:27:00 True, hopefully the CMOS battery isnt flat Speedy Gonzales (78)
1305893 2012-10-09 01:48:00 aren't cmos batteries easy to replace? Slankydudl (16687)
1305894 2012-10-09 01:50:00 Everything is up to date (windows wise) ... time / date is correct and the computer switched automatically to daylight saving. Mobo isn't that old so don't think it's a problem with the CMOS battery. SP8's (9836)
