If I remember correctly Snapper is the Wellington bus pass thing isn't it which I won't be concerned about and I won't be moving from Vodafone unless 2Deg offer a better plan than I have. |

See here (www.techradar.com) Well it's not a disappointment unless you expected samsung to put the S3 into a shrink ray. It's a budget/mid range version of the S3, similar specs to the S2 (you'd probably be better going for an S2 if you want custom ROM support) |

I'd have expected a non pentile amoled, like they put in the S2. That's the main disappointment to me, though a slightly higher cpu clock wouldn't have hurt either. |

| 1307020 | 2012-10-16 04:11:00 | Yeah the NFC on the S3 is nice. AFAIK it's similar to the One X and Galaxy Nexus, will work on any telco in NZ. | Chilling_Silence (9) | ||
| 1307021 | 2012-10-16 11:06:00 | What would you recommend for a budget of a couple hundred bucks or less? I'm considering getting a new phone over the xmas hols if I can spare the cash while I'm broke without student allowance. I'd want a decent camera, expandable memory, pref USB connector, mp3 player and it to work on 2 degrees so I can boot vodafone. Any recommendations? Currently running a nokia 2630 (one of these, lol www.mobilegazette.com) and I'm frustrated with the pictures it takes on the very rare occasions that I want to take them. |

| 1307022 | 2012-10-16 11:57:00 | Pretty much everything has a standard micro USB these days, except the iPhone. Decent camera on a budget phone? Don't get your hopes too high, though it'll undoubtedly be better than that Nokia. MP3 playback is standard with Android, and a myriad of apps from the Play Store. Expandable memory is a nice cheap way of adding additional storage if you're carrying your music with you and most < $500 phones can do it. You'll probably wanna look in the direction of the Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 |
