1306677 2012-10-14 02:16:00 As already mentioned, get a Western Digital of Seagate Hard drive, my suggestion would be to stay well clear of a Hitachi.

1306680 2012-10-14 04:47:00 Try getting the folks at Computerlounge.co.nz to recommend you a build. Given they do it for a living, give them your budget, requirements and let them work it out. They offer warranties and such on their work and they won't suggest anything that won't work well.

And unless you're going to try running linux or be a knob and pirate windows, you'll need to factor in the cost of a license unless you already happen to have a spare key.

1306681 2012-10-14 07:01:00 I would save a little more if I were you.I was told $2500-3000 for a decent rig.But that was a while ago. sk69ersnz (13476)
1306682 2012-10-14 08:13:00 You can easily spend $1400 and get a decent gaming pc. icow (15313)
1306683 2012-10-14 08:14:00 my rig (in signature) cost about 3,700 all up for screens, keyboard, mice and all other things you could think of. I saved up to buy quality items in the hope that it will pay off and last me until they become obsolete and not until they break. Slankydudl (16687)
1306684 2012-10-14 08:21:00 Would you say at least 750W? sean2487 (16918)
