Leoand/Kelvinator was a brand F&P, when they imported stuff, re-badged as their own. They had an agreement with them.

Like Elba now - Elba is in fact various brands - except you no longer get two badges on them stating the original.

1282277 2012-06-18 04:38:00 Well, dryer fixed by a very helpful and reasonably priced local tradesman and I now know how to take them apart properly.
There's a small nylon pin inside the drum you pull forward to disconnect it from the back of the dryer. So simple when you know how.

I worked there once. The engineers would disagree with you.
F&P made products are made by them (well then they were) and used certain parts.
The imported re-badged stuff was made by other companies and used whatever parts they used.

Big difference.

This is why their stuff is now crap. I listened to those engineers go on about it all the time and ***** and moan about being forced to use parts they hadn't recommended.

Leonard/Kelvinator made great stuff.
