1282248 2012-06-18 07:56:00 I find Google very good (the nz version).
I register my web sites with Google and they are usually to be found on the 1st page near the top.
I tried to register with Bing and ended up floundering in nosey Bullshit.

1282249 2012-06-18 08:42:00 Well, ol' Bert Tennyson apparently tried them both,

Bing: That hoard, and sleep, and feed, and know not . . .

Google: To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield . . .

1282250 2012-06-18 08:51:00 Nothing wrong with Bing - for what it is. About as much use as a coal-fired toothbrush.
Charcoal is good for the teeth.:)

1282252 2012-06-18 11:08:00 Well Google had massive panda and penquin (searchengineland.com) updates during April and earlier "freshness" and bold ad penalty updates, thus deindexing millions of spam articles, blog, directory networks, and reducing or penalising rankings for millions of low content websites.

As for Bing they were proved to be copying Google last year from a bing sting (searchengineland.com) operation. Can't be doing it now if they have less than stellar results.

Your sites near the top? - sure you are not logged in Google Search - which will do that - i.e. personal search.
