Sell something similar and will ship to NZ.

Come on Jen that was legit spam. Was a direct response to OP's question even!

1282106 2012-08-24 10:47:00 There are suppliers on ebay but no NZ/AUS/CN plates. All US. The next option you could try would be to get one of these www.ebay.com

You could give it power via a normal "wall charger" that you would put in a project box and wire to mains (something like www.ebay.com (www.ebay.com) would have a good form factor.

Personally I'd test it to make sure it wouldn't pose a fire hazard should it heat up under load for a month or so before stuffing it into a wall. If you wanted power too I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to dremel a hold into an existing wall plate and install one of these alongside. It would be best to get it fitted by an electrician though. Any fault causing damage wouldn't be covered by insurance.

The Sockitz one from Aus looks decent, with the NZ socket plug.

Read the post again, I was using it as a comparison.
I suspect USB and other non mains connecters and cables would have the same restrictions
I don't think NZ mains outlets are allowed to share space with any other type of outlet, and the cables in the wall must be separated also.
