| 1306170 | 2012-10-10 00:52:00 | Hi there Can anyone recommend a free Outlook Express repair/recovery tool, or dbx mailbox viewer I have deleted/missing emails to recover, & multiple dbx files that are no longer recognised by Outlook Exp (wont import onto other PC's Outlook Express either ) The hard drive was failing, although I doubt all these dbx mailboxs would be corrupt. Went through this process several years ago, and many failed. At the end of the day I went for recoverytoolbox.com/outlook_express (www.recoverytoolbox.com) It works, and has gotten back emails that have been badly corrupted or even deleted for years. Comes down sometimes, how important are the mails for the small amount it costs to get a program that actually works ? I think from memory the trial goes right through to the point of recovering before payment is required, so you can see if it does what you want. |

It's available from here: www.oehelp.com along with other useful Outlook Express tools (most of which now appear to be non-free unfortunately). I have an older version of DBXtract (free version) which I could send you (only 72Kb). PM me with your email address if you want to try it. |
