| 61757 | 2002-07-11 19:43:00 | I am receiving the following error message every time I start my computer While initialising device configmg: Windows Protection Error. You need to restart you computer. After restarting it a few time it eventually goes. However the speakers and printer (usb port) are not working. There are yellow exclamation marks under the Sound video & game controller and usb controller in the device manager. There is another error message about the Himem.sys file that comes up sometimes. However I cannot replicate it at the moment to get the exact wording. I use the Windows 98 software on a Hp Pavilion 4410 machine. What should I be looking for to fix the problem? |
