61430 2002-07-10 22:42:00 hey!
I'm considering changing ISPs, due to xtra charging me for what i dont use or have...
But I wanna know what good ISPs and deals are around..
I only use 3-4 hours a day or less...and definately under 150 hrs a month but theres always 1-2 hours more sometimes..
So i'm just looking at a 150hr monthly plan for something under $20..
I'm considering clearnet's plan of home150...for $14.95 but I'd love it if theres any different plans around for same or better value..

61431 2002-07-11 00:12:00 Hi..... What plan are you on at the moment? If you are on a flat-rate plan, you will have to notify your ISP that you want to shift to a different one if its more economical. The ISP dosen't monitor your internet use (like a telephone toll call, say)

61432 2002-07-11 00:12:00 Have a look in the back of Net Guide - there's a good listing of ISP's and there pricing.

I'd like to recommend one to you, but unfortunately, I can't at this stage.

Have a look here (pages.quicksilver.net.nz) at my ISP ratings page.

61433 2002-07-11 01:28:00 I'd recommend E3. Put in the 'search' and you'll see lots of comments. mark c (247)

61435 2002-07-11 02:03:00 Hi,

Check out the Consumer magazine web site. A very comprehensive guide to ISPs:

61436 2002-07-11 06:55:00 I second Heathers suggestion.

Depends where u live too. If your in a main center, like Auck, Well, Chch, Dunedin, then Slingshots pretty good.

Also E3 is getting worse and worse.
