61818 2002-07-12 04:05:00 When I re-boot my computer (or sometimes when I am on-line) the screen goes blank and the computer continuously beeps. I then have to power off and start again. racr (999)
61819 2002-07-12 13:30:00 that could be when the computer has gone into hibernation, not really sure, but wot OS r u using? if xp u can deactivate the hibernation like this c:\control panel\Performance & Maintenance\Power Options\Hiberbate tab, then enable or disable hibernation. hope that helped.

61820 2002-07-12 21:57:00 What brand of bios do you have? EG:award,AMI,Pheonix,EtC.
Those beeps are a bit like morse code & you can usually find out what is causing the problem by the way it beeps.
The beeps you describe sound like the video card.
First I would try reseating the video card, especially if the computer has been moved recently.
