| 62633 | 2002-08-04 07:30:00 | mine was customised too. it shouldn't matter. i couriered mine, and yes it costs a fair wack coz they are reasonably heavy.... remember, this solution solved the problem for ME, and your situation is SIMILAR to mine, so it MIGHT solve your problem too. Aside from that, if your are having serious problems with a new computer you should be in contact with the person\shop you got it from especially since it is still under warrantee.... ok, I have a geforce 2 mx 64mb vid card, and my motherboard is NOW a gigabyte ga-7dx+, wheras it used to be a ga-7vdte, then got changed to a ga-7vtxe+ which also didn't work.... ok, so the one i have now that does work is a gigabyte ga-7dx+ (has a amd 761+686B chipset) what you should probably do is cut and paste ANY relevant advice you have recieved on pressF1 into a word document or text document or something, and then print it out. Then you can demonstrate your problem to the shop you got your computer off, and you can show them why you are requesting the other motherboard... remember, you are young and the people in the computer shop might think you don't know what you are talking about. don't be rude though and just show them the advice you have got on pressF1. sorry I don't play CS. I'm too busy doing my university work (he says as he downloads another game) ;-) |
