| 62894 | 2003-11-07 06:33:00 | Well someone posted on here ages ago about wanting to play Sam and Max (a DOS game) on Win XP and he had success in doing so with the help of this site (http://quick.mixnmojo.com/). Don't know if it is of any use to you but have a look anyway. :-) | Susan B (19) | ||

| 62896 | 2003-11-07 07:40:00 | Hmmm it is a little old. But its a cinch getting DOS games running in XP. You navigate to the install folder inside a command prompt, and type in the .exe and it should run fine. If you get clever you can make a batch file to open the game for you. I can't believe the number of people that moan about going back to Win98 for compatibility with games etc. Its soo easy to get any game running. |

| 62897 | 2003-11-07 08:15:00 | I got sam and max going on XP! Works great. Dunno when this happened, but I can now no longer use the XP emulator thing. I can start all my dos games, but after 10 seconds or so, it locks up. Dont think it has anything to do with Quick and Easy, because I think thats the reason I tried it. mmm. |
