This is what systems I have: Server - (Originally to be a gameserver. Can be thrashed if suggested!;\ ) -------------------------------------------- Amd k6 500 192 Sdram 4 gig HD 56k Conectant modem NE2000 network card Software Windows 2000 pro VNC Services (desktop helpdesk software) W/t Shared Internet Internet Information Services installed (Win2k Ver) Client (My main computer) ---------------------------- Amd Ath850 256 ddr 15 gig Intel 10/100 netcard Software Windows XP pro VNC Viewer (Can control Server from here) Frontpage 2000 Dreamweaver/Flash + graphics editing programs I'm looking for configuring guides for IIS or any other programs anyone can suggest. Thanks for any help. |

Change VNC to TightVNC (much better product and its still free) http://www.tightvnc.com/ Consider using Linux as an intranet server A great content manager that I've just recently found is postNuke. It's free and can be found at http://www.postnuke.com. All I can say about postNuke is it's about one of the best CM software I've seen which could easily cost $10,000 if some commercial company were to sell it. You'll need PHP and mySQL. I've been testing it for a week now and it so bloody easy to configure. There are a couple of things to watch out for if you're installing postNuke on IIS.
