63780 2002-07-20 07:37:00 Have looked at a friends computer.
She is concerned about multiple emails (from differing sources)
Most of them simply have "Try it yourself" in the subject line with no other text or attachments.
There are other headings as well:
"Meeting notice"
"Let's be friends"
"A powful tool"
"The active desktop%"
I've got no idea what they are or why they are arriving
Anyone else experienced these?

Thanks
Capt Jimbo

63781 2002-07-20 08:12:00 They are all known headers for emails resulting from (and containing) the Klez virus godfather (25)
63782 2002-07-20 09:13:00 According to the tv advert, spam also comes in tins... :| wuppo (41)
63783 2002-07-20 10:00:00 Thanks Godfather
I had a suspicion that they were virus related but I couldn't find a reference to them
I'm confident that the virus hasn't infected my freinds PC

63784 2002-07-20 10:13:00 Not all spam contains viruses but it's all annoying.

Keep virus checkers up-to-date and learn the signs ignore and delete the stuff.
