| 63475 | 2002-07-19 03:01:00 | I have just finished rebuilding my comp. The only thing in the box that was in my old one is the cd-rw. Being cheeky and looking for a fight with Microsoft I installed the copy of XP that I have had for six months. When I decided to try and activate it I was floored when I received the "activated" message. I am wondering now if activation is just a big joke. If activation was serious it should have detected a new computer, and as it had run on another comp, rejected it. Jack |
