| 63664 | 2002-07-20 03:45:00 | It might be a long shot but you could try it anyway: Open Win Explorer, find a program file with the .exe extension, hold down Shift and right-click the file. In the menu that pops up, choose Open With and select Program. Click OK and hopefully all will be well. If not, post back for more advice. |

| 63670 | 2002-07-20 07:40:00 | Not much anymore godfather, I've now got my own chef. Comes at the price of an empty wallet though, but it's worth it. :D Bryan, my old dinosaur's CPU wouldn't get hot enough to sizzle an egg but don't worry, the one in the works certainly will. Might have to sack the chef if I'm going to be able to afford what I want though. :-( |

| 63671 | 2002-07-21 08:29:00 | Hi Nuts, A few questions first, Do you still have a problem because if not forget the rest of the ?s . Also please let us know how you fixed it . What version of Windows are you using? How did you disassociate the files? If you go to folder options/file types, do you have one called Application and do it's details say "extention exe / opens with (executable) Can you run any applications eg . IE, OE, Regedit? Can you Run Regedit from the Start/Run menu? If some applications run but others don't, which don't and what response do you get when you try? Please advise, PC |
