63894 2002-07-20 21:08:00 Unfortunately MS Word does not seem to have a feature for keeping customised envelope settings (unlike Wordperfect). How do I write a macro which will print a selected address onto a customised envelope?
I want to be able to select the text and then just press the macro shortcut to print on the envelope.

63895 2002-07-20 22:18:00 depends what you want to customise....
Word retains changes if they are done to the "snvelope style".

Format - Style - Envelope...

You may get what you want this way??

63896 2002-07-22 22:25:00 Can you give me more details. I want to change the top margin of the text. bpt1 (419)
63897 2002-07-23 02:47:00 Its a bit too complicated to step through on the forum, and even though I have never needed to do it, it all seems straightforward.

I found it all looking in Word, at the help file.- have you tried that?

You need to go to format-styles-view all styles-select envelope-modify-frame-increase top spacing.

It will vary between versions of Word a bit, (word 95, 97, 2000, XP)
