64314 2002-07-22 09:39:00 I have just purchased a new drive. I want to create a duplicate of all my files onto my new drive so I can seamlessly upgrade to it, without reinstalling anything. Is there a way to do this?? Is there any FREE way of doing this??

Cheers,
Craig.

64315 2002-07-22 09:42:00 look around for a trial of ghost.

ghost lets you boot off a floppy and clone the drive across and also resize the patitions as you go.

I am sure that there are other programs out that do this too but i cant think of any right now.

64316 2002-07-22 11:11:00 try getting image copy, can duplicate even in Dos and even has a GUI for giving the commands in windows while the computer does it by itself. this is quite a handy program, it is freeware but is limited in supply, if u have kazaa search for it. should come up with results.

cheers,
