64203 2002-07-22 05:59:00 Try Eudora

www.eduora.com

a great programme that works similar to Microsoft Outlook Express but doesnt have the word "Microsoft" In its title.

God, even typing that word makes me want to reboot

Are you running Linux

If Microsoft is so damned distasteful, get rid of the computer. No use you getting wound up in knots over someting so trivial as nearly rebooting because you had to type Microsoft.

Reboot your brain. It might make you feel a little better. Or take some asprins and have an early night

64208 2002-07-23 08:19:00 thanks for Eudora, would have been nice if you'd spelt the www. the correct way, no worries, got there in the end. using win95 and am comfortable with "outlook express". don't really want ad's etc...
so nothing that takes the slashes out huh !

and hey guys, lighten up, sounded like someone was going to have a bloody heart attack.

64209 2002-07-23 10:27:00 Hi diggerdogger (i like the name by the way) were none of the ones from the other thread any good either? I looked at that one Honeylaser suggested that you didn't even need to download www.sarrchasm.com
but didn't get around to trying it - you just copy and paste the text in and it dechevrons it for you apparently or Bazza's one "Clipcache Plus" which he said had the option to remove the: <<< . You did mean to take out the chevrons eh << ?

64210 2002-07-23 11:06:00 No problem with Mac version of Outlook Express
It has a check box - Use Quoting characters when forwarding

Also Netscape Messenger has the option to forward quoted or not.
