| 64173 | 2002-07-22 05:27:00 | Hi Don't think there is program that will actually make folders for you but Windows Media Player 7 or any other decent MP3 player can sort the songs but Artist, Album, genre, year etc etc. That's if the songs you have have an ID3 tag in them! |

| 64175 | 2002-07-22 07:40:00 | Hi. I think one way that still involves a bit of finger labour, would be to use the Search function in an imaginative way. Try doing a series of searches (only in the same folder of course) using a variety of wildcard searches, and then move all results into sub-folders. | 64178 | 2002-07-22 09:51:00 | I wouldnt bother putting each artist into a separate folder but each to his own. Advanced MP3 Catalog is good - it's designed for people who burn their MP3's to CD. You just insert the CD and it takes a snapshot of the files so you can then do a search and find what particular song is on what CD. If you have 3k I think you are getting to that stage :-) Do a search on MP3 catalogs or organisers in Google and I'm sure plenty hits will be found. |
