| 64268 | 2002-07-22 09:31:00 | I took a laptop with a 28K modem to my mums house in Leperton, and connected at a glorious 12.?K I don't know where you are, but if its rural, your doing OK getting 26 A friend of mine in punikikie (probably spelt wrong) on the southern west coast used to get a 9.?K connection. I gave her my old modem, a dynalink exteranal rural, and now she gets 16... They make a huge improvment! consider that if you have problems, but are stuck with dialup! |

I used to connect at 52k - once got 55k! then I must of done something, and i'm limited to 26400bps :( most people say its the driver - no luck there though, might just get a new modem. and Pappa John i'll let u have this weeks lotto - i'll take next weeks :p |
