Problem adding a third computer to a LAN, with existing PC's "A" and "B" I can access files but when new PC "C" is connected I can access "A" to "C" but not "B" to "C".
Also the PC "C" worked OK as standalone with dialout on modem but on the LAN dials out via modem on PC "A" on startup from Outlook Express. Have checked help which says to go to Tools, Messenger Service however MSN Messenger Service is grayed out and cannot open it to see what changes are required. |

Have you checked that none of the IPs or Subnet Masks are conflicting. |

It sounds suspiciously like your pc "C" is obtaining it's address via DHCP. If you are running Win9x this appears to be the default setting for home networking. Try using fixed IP addresses. |
