I've just bought an Audioengine DAC and I'm looking for a pair of high quality headphones to pair with it.
No real need for 5.1 sound capability as they'll mostly be used for listening to music, YouTube clips, podcasts.
Also I'm looking for a pair of cans that are light weight (ish) and comfortable to wear (especially for prolonged periods).

My budget is around the $150 mark (hoping that's adequate?!)

Any recommendations?

Those are very good bang for your buck.

I just bought a pair of those, fairly amazing, not something you'd listen to compressed music with though.

1282733 2012-06-20 23:39:00 These are known for having about the best sound around for $ 200 plus they come in a pcak of two www.rubbermonkey.co.nz

Otherwise I have a set of these www.computerlounge.co.nz Audio technica AD700, maybe a bit over budget at $199 but they definitely sound good and comfort levels are second to none.
