It was low to the ground when forklifted from the crusher to the ground and made it easy for the Police Minister to climb on top of it in her high heels. I wonder what OSH thought of that. | Bobh (5192)

Hah. Call them young and stupid, I'd call them potential murderers. Anyone who puts the lives of others at risk through their own INTENTIONAL stupidity henceforth forfeits their rights to be alive. If a boy racer died (there was a funeral for one recently) I wouldn't be crying. I'd be dancing on their bloody grave laughing at the morons, no matter who they were. Put it on a track or start digging your hole. |

Publicity of their son's crimes should be part of the punishment. The offender should be made to attend the crushing and have his face broadcast over television so that the whole country knows what the idiot looks like. The downside though is that other boyracers might view him as a martyr. What ever happened to the stocks in a public square? | Bobh (5192)
| 1283025 | 2012-06-21 23:28:00 | Bobh, that's a good idea, they should all be made to attend the CRUSHING, bit like getting the STRAP in school in front of the whole class, very HUMILIATING to say the least. Lurking. Ps. mind you youth of today don't really give a s t u f f do they. lurks. |

Take drink-driving for example. I heard it pointed out on the radio you'll get a few hundred dollar fine for that, and you can do it a few times, maybe lose your license. MANY more instances around the country on a regular basis of fatalities caused from that. Perhaps we should crush the cars of drink-drivers on-sight! |

The Police supplied a driving instructor as well. The skid pan was in a remote area away from houses. After this if anyone was 'hooning' on the streets they would have the car confiscated, 1st time, no argument. The Pan was very popular with the young & not so young. BTW confiscating drunk drivers cars first time would be very good. Far too much procrastination here! |

Isn't that just rewarding bad behaviour and lack of self control? That's like sending a rapist to a free brothel! |
