| 1307603 | 2012-10-19 01:39:00 | So I just bought a Turtle Beach PX21 headset, and I am using it on my computer... The problem I have is I hear myself through my mic, I'm using Windows 7 and I have just gone as far as plugging it in the front audio/usb jacks on my computer. My speakers are OFF and I remember years ago I had this problem with it and I had to mute the mic on the headset itself and do something in windows, and basically have it switched around... Can anyone help me remember what i need to do? The "Chat" slider on the headset seems to be adjusting the volume from the headphones for some reason. Edit: I have turned ALL levels that I can find down to ZERO, and I still hear myself coming through the headphones... The only way to get it to stop is to hit the mute switch on the mic |
