1474362 2021-01-06 21:41:00 I see advertised on the TV every so often, Freeview TV On Demand but have no idea how to access it.

Will someone please tell me how I do that, please.:help::thanks

1474363 2021-01-06 22:09:00 If your tv supports it (freeview plus I think it’s called). You can go through the TV guide to access it. Some tvs also have dedicated tvnz/tv3 apps that allow Ondemand as well.

Or options are Apple TV, Vodafone tv or chromecast as media streamers (in order of most expensive to least). Vodafone tv is not as the name suggests tied to Vodafone. But can be with a subscription.

In case not immediately obvious Ondemand needs internet access.

1474365 2021-01-07 06:59:00 Thanks for your advice everyone.

I don't have a smart TV which is why I asked.

I will do as you say, Piroska, and Cast it to my TV.:thanks

1474366 2021-01-07 07:16:00 If you have Wifi and a not very smart TV you can buy a dongle like the Dish one for around $140 that turns it into a smart TV
Gives you On demand, Netflix Youtube and even ordinary live TV so you don't need an aerial or Sat dish

1474368 2021-01-07 18:56:00 Heaps of options out there to suit your needs

Have a older 1st gen smart TV but use a Chromecast Ultra and does everything I need from my Comp including connecting through VPN to other sites

The "Dish" option would be the next step up over the Chromecast

Choose what you want to achieve and look for the best option to do it

1474369 2021-01-08 19:20:00 But you don't need fancy TVs to do it.
A webiste on a pc or laptop, and cast it to the dumb tv...both TVs here are old and dumb.

1474371 2021-01-09 23:12:00 Just watch it on a computer or plug it TV with the HDMI cable, like those who already said it.

tvnz.co.nz

After you create an account there for free, you can access On Demand for free, not available to every show thou (movies) but most or all series are there. If you don't have a TV aerial, you can also watch live TV on the Internet also.
