Printer been dead for ages he said.

Took me 5 seconds to delete the Network Printer and default select the Local. (He has no network and only one printer)

He never was interested in even that much of a troubleshooting exercise....

Had an easy one a few weeks back, this guy had brought a new monitor Quite large, well apart from the fact he had every input with a cable going to various places ( wasn't the problem) His actual problem was it wouldn't go. He had someone who "knew all about Computers" look and they couldn't figure it out.

First thing I looked at -- REALLY -- picked up the power plug and plugged it in - Surprise - it went :groan:

1474324 2021-01-04 03:16:00 ^That 240 V is terribly unreliable - only a couple of inches 'twixt plug and socket and it goes out on strike.
Probably faulty electricity ;)
