| 1473725 | 2020-12-17 00:07:00 | Every man, woman and child in New Zealand has just paid $6 to solve the maori/Fletcher Challenge dispute. Even SWMBO who has been a Jacinda fangirl is not happy. Me, I could see this sort of thing coming when Labour won in 2017. Its a wonder it took so long. Floodgates are now open.... method, want land? sit on it till government (don't even deserve the honorific of a capital G) pays out. Bastards, the lot of them! Leave the tents standing for accommodation, who would do a deal with them to build houses ? Ken :xmouth::xmouth: |

One just drove by...and stopped and gave us a heap of really big mussels and said we are (apparently) newly moved and good people, so they say round here... Hmmm. Oh yes, the scum zone of Napier. Full of these terrible maori people. |

Full of these terrible maori people. Racism, where do you see that! It's the bloody government I am mad at. They bend to the will of anyone who makes a big noise. The "joke" amongst people I know is that "if you want something, ask Jacinda" I agree with you on the perception people have of "The Nui" I drove the van for the local Teen Parents School. And for 11 years I was in that area plus Flaxmere in Hastings. The people there were much nicer than the ones from higher socio-economic areas! Have seen plenty of stuck up white parents who had great difficulty in coming to terms that their precious daughter was pregnant. Some of them were quite rude to me and the other drivers! | 1473732 | 2020-12-17 20:12:00 | Lets not forget this land was STOLEN . So its only whites who are allowed to get stolen goods & stolen land returned to them ? How would you feel if the Govt just took your house & gave you 2 blankets as payment . That would be 100% Ok then Or what if the govt decided it was OK for your cousin to sell your house & your sisters house & your parents house & you all get nothing ? Or the govt decided not to allow you to build on your own land , and would not allow water or electricity to be connected to your land in an effort to force you off ? Or Govt decided that any roads built through your land : you get no compensation while whites did get compensated All the white grizzling & whining is because its Maori making these claims . thinly veiled racism  |

Where they lived was the Spoils of War and likely to change at any time. It wasnt until the Pakeha went to a lot of trouble and set up the Maori Land Court and Maori Affairs that any sort of ownership was established. By comparison to similar situations, in other countries, they dont know how lucky they are. |
