1468792 2020-05-16 23:14:00 HDMI.

There are heaps of different adapters, take a look at the pins on the DVI first, you can get caught out getting the wrong one if nt careful.
VGA is obsolete now.I ordered a DVI - HDMI Cable and thought that would cover it. There are 18 pins (9+9) on my plug which I
am using now and on my previous Monitor. Is there something else I should be looking at as I don't want to get the wrong cable.

1468795 2020-05-17 04:42:00 wainui, I have been reading some terrible posts about AOC Monitors and pixel problems. Also that they are difficult to deal with when problems arise.

What has been your experience with AOC Monitors. Thinking I should wait until I can get another Viewsonic.?

It depends on where and how many Dead /Bright pixels there are.

Haven't had any one complain about either Viewsonic or AOC for years, so if there have been any I haven't been contacted after selling.

Last one I did (and its a guess of approx 7-8 Years ago) I called up the suppliers told them there was a bright Pixel in the middle of the screen that was damn annoying, no problem sent out a replacement Monitor next day. It was so tiny ( but annoying if you knew it was there) I had to place a small piece of tape on the monitor with an arrow pointing to it, cant remember the Brand.

A LOT has to do with whom you buy things from ---- Some stores - "sometimes" have Warranty problems -- Hopefully Piroska will advise and can reply, she knows about some of the shops "reputations" ;)

1468797 2020-05-17 23:01:00 That clears things up. I guess I shouldn't believe everything I read eh?. Will be interested to hear from Piroska. I welcome the days when I can go into a retailer and select the Monitor that I want. Pato (2463)
1468798 2020-05-18 01:02:00 Its very unlikely you'll have a stuck/dead pixel fault .

Otherwise spend 2x the price to get something with a 3 year zero pixel warranty . I wouldnt ;)
