1468609 2020-05-08 09:23:00 Suddenly my "Flash and Video Download" Firefox addon doesn't work on youTube videos?

Has anyone encountered this recently? Have youTube changed something? It worked perfectly previously. (NOTE: I have not done any W10 or FF updates since it last worked so it's not an update.)

I have tried it on several different random videos and it doesn't work on any. EG

Thanks in advance.

Or try a different one

It's an ongoing game of cat and mouse :)

1468611 2020-05-08 12:43:00 I use '4K VideoDownloader' and have not had any problems. Give it a try.
You just copy the video URL then paste it into the downloader which saves
it in a folder. There are quality settings etc in the preferences menu.

1468613 2020-05-14 10:17:00 Video DownloadHelper has for many, many years (I guess at least 10 years) been a popular addon for downloading not only YouTube videos but whatever videos you may encounter while surfing.

It usually stays in a grey looking state but gets colourful when it sees a video it can download. This means you can click on it, pick the quality of the video you want to download, or conversions and it will download it to its default video folder location which you can change in its settings.

I do not know all its features so I am not sure if you can feed it a video link, but that would be my only con is that you must come across the video.
