| 64621 | 2002-07-23 12:34:00 | Can someone please tell me, if its possible, how to setup outlook express so that i can read my mail from my web based netscape account on outlook express. I thought it would be similiar to hotmail (ie HTTP) but i get messages telling me "resource not found". Ive placed "ncmail.netscape.com as the swerver url is this corect? Any help much appreciated. | 64622 | 2002-07-23 13:57:00 | I don't believe there is any POP 3 access for a Netscape mail account That server address would certainly be incorrect as it is a website URL Server addresses are in the format such as pop3.netscape.com but this is only an example it is not the correct one.. |

| 64623 | 2002-07-23 21:29:00 | I have never tried to do this but it may work. First make sure you check the Netscape site to see if they have any instructions. Next when you go to set up an account, go to tools, Accounts, Add, and then state that you have an existing email address. when you get to the next screen where it says POP3 click the down arrow and then select HTTP. Finally enter the other details need (hopefully you got these from the Netscape site) :) |
