| 64524 | 2002-07-24 05:10:00 | hmmm...think there is something in dial-up-networking that does it? Trouble is I have broadband via a router here so no dial-up adapters I can check. |

| 64525 | 2002-07-24 05:44:00 | You should swap PCs with me because I've got my option ticked but when I disconnect it doesn't offer to close the internet connection. You can have mine as long as yours is faster. :D Maybe you need to delete your DUN and recreate it again? Make sure you write down the phone numbers and other settings first though. |

| 64526 | 2002-07-24 05:49:00 | In advanced settings - just tick the box "disconnect if idle for etc" untick the other one. Doesn't make sense, but it works. Bye Peter |

| 64527 | 2002-07-24 05:54:00 | This may only be in Win ME Double-click on My Computer, then double-click on Dial-Up Networking. Right-click on the connection icon and choose Properties. Click on Dialing tab Uncheck box Disconnect when connection may not be needed If Win 95/98 and Internet options/connections/settings/advanced does not work. support.microsoft.com |
