| 65316 | 2002-07-25 10:27:00 | Would anybody out there have any websites that deal in computing statistics that you hear every now and then in the Imag and PCWorld etc... Especially things like speed of computing, home use, and future trends. Things like: "1 Billion computers have been sold worldwide, It is said that it will only take 6 years to sell the next one billion computers" Any help would be much appreciated Thanks Jo |

| 65317 | 2002-07-25 10:53:00 | for interest sake, I've got a stat for you. It isn't official or anything, but it's a bit strange.... I went to a symposium from IBM at massey PN on wednesday. They were talking about their new server technology, it was kind of interesting. In the lecture theatre I would say there were about 50 or so people who came along to listen. Of those 50 or so people, there was ONE female. ONE. And she was one of the people who organised the presentation.... What's up with that? |
