| 65086 | 2002-07-25 05:15:00 | A little problem occured while tring to post a message this afternoon. A message popped up saying "could not conect to remote server" This came up about 4 times while trying to post.Spell checker didnot work at this time and didnot matter if u tried to post after typing the message or after preview. It seems also that when i click on a thread its been taking a lot long for the thread to appear, I know the long threads do take a while like tweak'e and the news, mainlly for the fact that the thread is long, but the short and sweet threads are taking longer to appear. Could it be the time of day 3 to 4pm when all the kids are on the net or something. cheers merlin-nz ;) |

| 65087 | 2002-07-25 06:15:00 | I've been having problems this afternoon, for the first time. Clicking on links in email notifications have been bringing up the Page Not Found error. Works fine a bit later. Also happens when clicking on links on the PF1 home page as well. I hope it isn't my new modem, but for now I'm putting it down to being a busy time. |

Yes, it may not be my laptop then!! Exact same thing was happening last night and again tonight, i thought it was this laptop in need of a purge or something and emptied the temp int. files and was going to even defrag later just in case that made a difference too. But i just tried a couple of other sites and no probs with the slow loading?? So is it possible that there is something going on with F1? And i thought exactly the same as merlin-nz that it was to be expected on the long threads, but it is happening on the short ones too. I am going to check it out on the other puter later and see if its the same too! |
