| 65052 | 2002-07-26 01:34:00 | Well, I think I've fixed it . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . I hope . Everything kept checking OK but files still wouldn't open, so I had what I thought was a bright idea . If they work together off-line, why not force the issue and make the two programs work together in an on-line web environment? ?:| I opened Acrobat and minimised it, then went surfing . Every PDF I tried opened automatically . Great I thought, so far so good, a workaround that will keep me sane! Then I closed Acrobat and tried again, just to see what happened . Well, you wouldn't read about it :O (anywhere except on Press F1 of course) the darned greebnch had got the huff and sloped off . Something got reset and now all PDFs open automatically again . I'm :^O :^O :^O :^O cos if I wasn't I'd be :_| :_| :_| :_| What a way to earn a living, right now politics looks like an attractive alternative! :( Thanks to all for the help . It is worth remembering this one as it seems that IE and Acrobat just forgot about each other for a while and needed to be reintroduced . Cheers Billy 8-{) :D :D :D |

I unticked mine and it allows the pdf file to fully download before being displayed, progress of download shown by the usual grey bar. ?worth a try. |
