| 65573 | 2002-07-26 05:53:00 | 1. I used Me. Every time i open win explorer it opens my documents and expands all the files within that folder. Is there any way to stop it from doing this? Can i change it to open say c: instead. 2. I've just installed office xp and now the newer version of photo editor wont open .bmp files. It says an application is not assigned to open this file, but when i look in file associations, photo editor is the app that is assigned to open them. |

| 65575 | 2002-07-26 06:00:00 | p.s. if you really want to change the original, modify the shortcut located in the start menu/programs folder located in the windows directory | mutts (790) | ||
| 65576 | 2002-07-26 06:02:00 | On the shortcut for windows explorer remove the "expander" tags after "explorer.exe" when you right click it and select properties, this should open it in compressed form. If you have installed an updated Photoeditor I wonder if it has uninstalled the old one, and the new one is in a different location? Use "find target" to prove it or retrain it, it should be available also on "properties" when right clicking the shortcut |
