| 65479 | 2002-07-26 00:50:00 | Is it standard to have Ability Write as the Word Processing application with XP? Friend of mine has that and I can't read any of his letters with my Micr. Word application (I run 98). Is XP supposed to come with a standard bundled package? Thank you | denise (1155) | ||

I think Ability Write is a freeware package, but it will have a "save as" option to save documents as other types, including those you want. You have to select it when you save? Microsoft never had a Word 98, they had Word 6, 95, 97, 2000, 2002. You may be confused with Windows 98, you probably have Word 97 or 95. |
