66127 2002-07-28 00:34:00 I am having trouble reinstalling Systemworks 2002. I have Windows 98.
My previous installation worked fine. The cause of my problem was because I deleted a partition which resequenced some drive letters. Systemworks was one of those programs effected. As a consequence I uninstalled Systemworks and then reinstalled it. All sections reinstalled OK with the exception of Norton Utilities. A message came up saying that N.U. was deselected because it was detected on my computer. There must be some strings remaining of N.U. but where? I suspect they are in the Registry.
Can you please help me to locate where and what these files are so that I can remove them

66129 2002-07-28 02:08:00 I had a similar problem uninstalling Norton from a PC not so long ago.
A search of the symantec site provided some very useful information for this very purpose.
Try here www.symantec.com

66130 2002-07-29 06:01:00 Thanks team for your replies. I found the solution. On N.Systemworks installation CD is a program called NSWCLEAN. This did the trick. I did install "regcleaner" and cleaned got rid of some obsolete entries.
