They don't send out fixes, we have to go and get them. That means if we reinstall we have to go find them again. Having a SP on CD would save us the trouble, especially if we're installing over wide networks etc. or do lots of repair work - its there to use when needed, rather than having to be looked for. Works the same way as the SPs for NT and 2K. Also they are suggesting that Media Player 9 (I think?) and DirectX 9 will be included in SP1, which does give something new to look forward to. Mike. |
