I thought it would recognise you had the files on your hard drive if it was pre-installed, but obviously it doesnt. did you not get any cds with the pc? at a minimum you need a recovery cd which has the xp cabs on it or you can never do a re-install, but I dont know if sfc would work with recovery cds, try it if you have them. |
