| 65795 | 2002-07-27 03:27:00 | may be true about fresh download, but remember.... no spyware or adware included either, such as some other "free" download managers. as for fresh UI, well, I like it. easy to use, good explanations of what the tweaks do... It's better than other tweak progs that I've used. That I'VE used, I'm not saying it's the best though. Others that I tried had poor GUI, etc, so I use fresh. |

| 65796 | 2002-07-27 05:53:00 | My windows list (apart from some stuff already mentioned): Graph Calc TaskInfo2002 - Gives a nice linux style cpu usage history in the system tray (as well as other stuff). GVim - Text Editor INCTRL4 - For monitoring programme installs. PowerArchiver2001 - Old freeware version, doesn't nag me and handles more formats than winzip. Mozilla - browser, although the startups a bit slow the first time. Outpost - firewall, fairly lightweight and no splash screen. Atomic timesync - simple and has built in server for my network. PuTTY - Telnet/SSH client. GIMP - Image Editor. WinMX - File sharing StartupCPL - Edit startup entries. Cygwin - Linux/Unix tools on windows. |
