| 66112 | 2002-07-27 16:33:00 | I have noticed that WinXP runs bit slower on my PC now..booting/opening Win explorer etc. Havent loaded new programs...and i do clean up now and then. But i have a big directory structure....overtime a lot of folders and sub folders and files created on my hard disk. Can it be because the file structure or directory structure or something similar has grown and is causing delay for win to locate/access files or registry has grown. Is there anyway to speed it up? |

I have to virtually turn off all the glittering stuff, optimize everything for prog to run better......my tiny Celeron 333 starts huffing and puffing otherwise. Just waitin to see Mr Clawhammer from AMD and some mb which starts to have serial ATA support (Gigabyte Rocks!!) and then put it all together to form my dream machine. |
