| 65779 | 2002-07-26 13:54:00 | I wish to Network the following 2 sytems: Acer Desktop /815e chipset/ Celeron 700MHz/ 256MB RAM Win 98SE O/S with Intel Pro VE 100 NIC to: Compaq Evo N115 Notebook / Via chipset /Duron 1000MHz /128MB RAM Win XP Pro O/S with Realtek PTL NIC If my notebook's C Drive is NTFS will I still be able to network it to my Desktop running the FAT 32 ? ( As I understand it Win98SE cant read NTFS ) I have purchased a Dick Smith CAT 5e RJ45 Cable Crossover and set up the systems as per your F1 stream on networking but am confused as to the respective file systems.
