| 66600 | 2002-07-29 22:47:00 | I upgraded to SE Win98. I have to load high a dos program, but since the upgrade I have not been able to do this. Typing "mem" I find no upper memory is allocated. Could somebody tell me the parameters of the config.sys file that allows me to do this. Thank you Derek |

| 66601 | 2002-07-29 22:58:00 | Man this is a time warp for the brain. I believe you need the following ... device = c:\windows\himem.sys device = c:\windows\command\emm386.exe (you can put addional parameters like /noems after this if you want) device = high, umb You will have to check the path of the first two lines. Im at work at the mo so cant look up my old DOS book of knowledge. cheers Parry |
