66863 2002-07-31 05:16:00 pocketTV is good, and free for private use.

I have a Toshiba e570, 320Mb RAM (64+256) stores plenty...

66864 2002-08-17 02:45:00 Have you tried www.handango.com? Try doing a search under free or freeware. A lot of developers create games or simple apps while they are learning how to write commercial ones.
Also check out www.audible.com for audio books that you can play on Windows Reader. You can chose from some excellent recent best sellers and get the first one FREE. You don't have to give them your credit card details or anything sensitive to get it.

66865 2003-06-06 05:41:00 GodFather, what do you mean by pocketTV for Pocket PC?

I have a Toshiba e570.

By the way, it has begun to keep blinking its appointment-alert red light even after I view the appt. I have to soft-reset to clear it.

Met that problem?

66866 2003-06-06 06:17:00 PocketTV is a free application that shows video clips (mpeg) on the e-570.
I now have a 1 GB CF card, and it works fine.
You will find it here (www.mpegtv.com)

Yes, the LED blinks for a set period irrespective of having cancelled the alarm, always has.
As you say, a soft reset fixes it if it annoys you.
