| 66592 | 2002-07-29 22:59:00 | Just a general thank you to all you experts (you know who you are) for answering my questions on this board. An update on my father-in-laws winmodem problem. Your answers showed us that we were actually trying to do the right things (more or less). We ended up surmising that the driver from the CD-Rom was corrupted or something so we used an external modem to get a generic driver from the conexant website and, Hey Presto, things are honky dory again. :D :D :D Once again, thanks to all who replied to this (and my other) posts. Hopefully one day someone will ask a question that is so basic I can give guidance! ;) |
